MSW Student Wins Outstanding Student Proposal Award from CASWE-ACFTS
The School of Social Work is proud to congratulate Nagham Azzam for being selected as a recipient of the 2018 Outstanding Student Proposal Awards from CASWE-ACFTS.

The Outstanding Student Proposal Award competition is a Board initiative aimed to promote high quality social work education and practice and to encourage more student participants to attend and present at the Annual Conference of CASWE-ACFTS. In January 2018 Nagham completed her MSW thesis entitled We Don’t Exist Here: The Tensions, Challenges and Erasure of Muslim Women in Social Work Education and it was based on this work that Nagham was selected to receive this prize. Congratulations, Nagham!
