BSW student named one of this year’s YWCA Women of Distinction
BSW student Olivia Mancini has been named one of the winners of the 45th annual Hamilton YWCA Women of Distinction.

Olivia is an undergraduate student in the School of Social Work as well as being a vital member of the project team for the Community University Policy Alliance on Gender Based Housing.
Olivia counts her role as a harm reduction worker with the Hamilton AIDS Network as but one of six positions she holds, including withdrawal management, addiction services and Salvation Army case worker. She was 1 of 12 winners of the 45th annual YWCA’s Women of Distinction Awards: The Courage of COVID, held Thursday on Zoom. The winners emerged from no fewer than 97 worthy nominees.
